Ginger Barber Inc was founded by Ginger Barber, a qualified and visionary interior designer, in Houston to provide uncomplicated, simple and beautiful design ideas. She has an experience of over 30 years and the trademark of her design firm is to create harmonious interiors in subtle, natural textures that soothe the senses. She is known for blending the designs of the past and present and come up with unique styles to meet the requirements of the modern home.
Ginger Barber’s guiding principle is “Keep it simple.” Her designs are pleasantly harmonious because of her love of a simple appearance combined with natural, tactile materials. Ginger uses a muted colour scheme for designing rooms. Then she lets nature take its course, preferring solid white, beige, or a modest repeated pattern.
Ginger relocated to Houston 30 years ago and started her own design company after receiving her design training at the Ringling School of Art & Design in Sarasota, Florida. She has a wealth of experience in both traditional and contemporary interior design, which is shown in her design work as she deftly blends the timeless qualities of both past and present fashion. In addition to enjoying time away from the city, Ginger enjoys creating second homes for families, whether they are beach houses or farm houses in the countryside.
In 1993, Ginger decided to take her business to the next level and opened The Sitting Room in the West Alabama area of downtown Houston, TX. Her unique sense of style and home decor have made waves in the interior design world, with mentions and photographs appearing on blog posts as well as in popular magazines.
