Award-winning interior designer Bradford Collier has been creating beautifully livable spaces for over two decades. After receiving a BFA in Interior Design from the University of Memphis, he began his career at a prestigious design firm in the state. After six years of honing his skills, Collier opened his own studio and ran it successfully for eight years. In 2009, he moved shop to Houston, Texas, where he has been running a thriving studio ever since. Specializing in full-service residential design, Collier’s goal is to create a space that reflects the person living in it through functional and feel-good design. Whether it involves architectural details, custom furnishings or lighting, Bradford Collier ensures the project is modern yet refined, whimsical yet appropriate.
Bradford Collier starts his design process by asking lots of questions and, more importantly, by listening. He says: “Whether it’s something mundane like reading in bed or incorporating a client’s sacred possession into the design, I’m always sensitive to their needs and make sure to accommodate them in my designs. His architectural background provides him with an eye for proportion and space planning, while his proficiency in AutoCAD makes him an even more unique designer. His new studio in EaDo (East Downtown Houston), BwC Studio, Inc., offers custom upholstery, accessories, and lighting. Recently, BWC Studio won the West University Festival of New Homes’ “Best Interior Design 2014” award; this is an annual tour of new homes built by custom builders and designers.
